Veteran Rent Assistance

Hello, my name is Marrissa Miller.

I served in the Navy for 20 years and worked as a civil servant for 10. After 30 years of service and calling over 20 veteran agencies for assistance, I have not been successful in receiving help. Each agency have stated there is no funding.

I recently had to stop work due to heart disease. In the midst of my transition from work, my monthly retirement and disability pay was stopped by mistake; leaving me with no income for the month. I’m in need of $1700 to cover the rent. I’ve depleted my savings getting my car repaired.

I have been put in a bad position. I will be overly grateful for any amount given to help to me in this situation.
