Blain and Casey's fire recovery

Donation protected

On April 9th Casey and Blain lost everything they had to a house fire. Blain and Casey are an inspiring young couple and are wonderful parents to a gorgeous 1 year old daughter.
Blain has been working tirelessly to try and put his house back together. He works all day at his job in construction and then goes to what is left of his home at the end of the day and on weekends to try and gut and repair his home.
Blaine is a friend of my son's and when I first met him he was in high school. Blaine has had to overcome many challenges in his life. He has always amazed me, many of us will never know challenges like his. I have never heard him complain about his hardships, but I have always heard him give thanks for his blessings. He has always believed in self-sufficiency and rarely would he ever accept help, but is always willing to give. This was not an easy task convincing Blain to reach out for help.
Blain expressed gratitude to the fire department and to God for waking him up in time. These are his words posted on his Facebook page soon after the fire "Thank you Lord for keeping my family safe an waking me up just n time... I woke up on my feet running to my daughter's room the fire was in the kitchen the wall that was on fire was the wall my daughter's crib was up against... when I got to her she was sound a sleep.. the smoke was just over the top of her crib I got her an Casey out of  the house and started fighting the fire... I put it out 3 times but it kept coming back.. they said it was a gas fire I think... both my fire extinguishers went out so I couldn't get it out the fourth time... thanks Litchfield Fire Department you boys did some work... mainly Thank you Lord for looking over us... God is good all the time an all the time God is good...I've been broke an homeless before so I know that you will work everything out.. Glory to God"
I hope anyone who is able, will help us try to reach our goal for Blaine, Casey and their daughter Addie. They are in need of building supplies ,labor to rebuild and everything needed to furnish a home. Most importantly they need a home to come to, at the end of the day, a place they can call their own. I hope in the near future they will be rocking Addie to sleep in her own little nursery, and placing her in little crib with all the security and peace of mind that goes with that.
I know that life is never easy for any of us but  some of us seem, to get a few more challenges thrown at us than what is considered "normal" in one persons lifetime . What I have found amazing is the sheer glimpses of God's true graces revealed when tragedy and hardships strike individuals like Blain, his humble resiliency as he quietly meets and deals with the challenges given to him never ever asking "why me" .
Thank you for taking the time to read this please like and share to reach a greater number of people to share Blain and Casey's  story. Please help if you can.
