UAW Local 42 Fundraiser for Veterans Day

In honor of our Veterans, UAW Local 42 is proud to host a fundraiser for Smoky Mountain Service Dogs leading up to Veterans Day. This fundraiser is supported by workers at Volkswagen in Chattanooga. We are doing this as a way of honoring our veterans and their service to our country. All of the proceeds of your donation go directly to Smoky Mountain Service Dogs to assist wounded veterans. Please give what you can, as every contribution makes an impact. We can do big things when we come together collectively as a community. Smoky Mountain Service Dogs is a 501(c)(3) non-profit, all volunteer, organization. Its mission is to enhance the quality of life for veterans with service-connected physical disabilities by providing custom-trained mobility assistance service dogs – at no cost to the Veteran. SMSD is chartered in the State of Tennessee, and is accredited by Assistance Dogs International. SMSD serves the entire state of Tennessee and portions of Alabama, Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina, West Virginia and Virginia.
