Many of you know and love Carrie and her parents.  Carrie's mother, Liz, was in a horrific car accident Friday, March 4th.  She was rushed to HCMC and brought immediately into emergency as she had broken her back.  Her first surgery was conducted to fuse her upper two and lower two thoracic vertebrae.  The surgeons told Carrie that her mother had been very close to becoming paralyzed.  Liz also sprained her right ankle and broke her left heel bone.  So, once the swelling goes down, she will need another surgery to repair her heel.  Liz and her family are in for a LONG road ahead of them: subsequent surgeries, physical therapy, occupationa therapy, and long term stay at a post-acute facility.  This will cause much financial strain as the medical bills begin to pile higher and higher.  I would like to raise as much money as possible to help alleviate this financial hardship.  Carrie is taking responsibilty for her mom's medical care and finances, which adds a lot of stress.  Carrie's mother is loving, kind, caring and willing to help anyone in need.  Now it's our turn to help her.  Please donate as much as you can so Liz and her family are able to focus on healing instead of how they will pay for the healing process.  I know the Paetow family will appreciate any donation amount you can provide.  They are wonderful people.  100% of the funds will be used to pay for medical bills.  When all medical bills are paid and Liz is back to 100%, any leftover funds will be donated to a charity of the Paetow's family choice.  Thank you very much for your love and support.
