Hello my name is Noah Peterson. I am writing this on behalf of the Wright family.
On July 14th, Jordan was in a serious roll over accident at the Rez. A place we all know and love. Quickly thinking, he was able to ask SIRI to call 911. From there he was airlifted to St. Mary's. Jordan was taken into surgery to fuse his C4 and C5. They also found a laceration on his vertebral artery. Normally, people are born with two of these arteries and Jordan only has one… They are worried about how to affectively save this artery due to the risks of stroke or brain damage.
Jordan has a bad day where he kept saying it felt like something was choking him. So the doctors and nurses conducted an MRI. Jordan’s MRI revealed that there was a large blood clot, standing blood, and damage to his C6. He was scheduled to have surgery the next morning. Which took 5 hours. During the surgery they fused his C3, C4, C5, and C6 together. Two surgeries later, Jordan still have no feeling in his left side, but can feed himself (sometimes) with his right arm and hand.
And he continues to keep his sense of humor.
We are starting this GoFundMe to help Jordan with the cost of living after an accident like this. From daily things to physical therapy. He has a very long road ahead and needs all the help he can get. Jordan and I went to school together and wrestled as long as I can remember. I was in a similar car accident last year and had 6 vertbres fused in my neck and back. Jordan messaged me right away to see how I was and asked if I needed anything. Thats who Jordan is. I was able to make a full recovery a year later so I know with his sense of humor, determination and grit, the strength of the Lord, his Family and support of the community Jordan will get through this! Please share as much as you can. This can help the Wright family so much through his recovery process.
