Hello!

I know you may not know me, and I don’t know you. While this may be true, what we all have in common is we have all seen loved ones suffer from cancer, or been through it personally. I think everyone can agree this is the most evil disease on the planet, and no one should have to go through this.

Over the past 3 years I have had the upmost pleasure to work alongside Paul Simmons. Paul has been in the tower climbing industry for over 40+ years, risking his life day in and out, so you and I can have cell phones, cable, satellite, fly safely through our sky’s, and much much more.

Today, I received a text message early in the morning from him, stating he won’t be on our next project because he was recently diagnosed with stomach cancer. My heart sank…

Everyone knows when you get this kind of news, you have no idea what to do, what to say, or what the future holds. What we do know is we need to be there for our loved ones in their time of need, just like they are there for us.

Paul is one of the most down to earth people I know. On the outside, he likes to act as if he has a “shell” and can’t be bothered. But once you get to know him, he is the most down to earth person I have ever met.

He travels most of the year because as previously stated he works on towers across the US. And even though his schedule is busy, he still makes time for his wife, kids, and family.

When I say, I strive to be Paul when I’m older, is an understatement. He is compassionate, kind, understanding, thoughtful, generous, enthusiastic, and humble. He has helped me though many trials in life over the past few years, so the least I can do is return the favor. He is a kind hearted husband, loving father and grandfather, and no one deserves more of a break than Paul. Paul is the kind of person to give the shirt off of his back for anyone in need, with 0 questions asked.

I am writing all of this to tell you, there is no one more deserving for help than Paul. If I could be half the man Paul is someday, I’ll know I did something right.

As we all know, when a loved one goes through treatment, the financial stress can become very overwhelming. The cost to get treatment is expensive, not to mention, your normal bills on top of it.

I am asking everyone to achieve this goal of $15,000 to help take some of the stress off of this man. Any donation you give is more than amazing and we couldn’t have done it without you!!!
