UAPD Chinmay Resident Wellness Fund

The Loma Linda Residents and Fellow Committee of Union of American Physicians (UAPD) and Dentists (not associated with the LLU institution/employer itself) is raising funds for the Chinmay Resident Physician Wellness Fund. This idea was created in collaboration with the parents of our beloved Chinmay Dr. Naina Bhoot and Dr. Nilesh Bhoot.

Dr. Chinmay Bhoot was a former surgery resident at Loma Linda who took his life last November. In the past few years there have been multiple resident physician suicides at Loma Linda and we want to provide funds for therapy outside of Loma Linda, emergent funds, free food/support and events for our residents/fellows to feel valued and appreciated.

Our UAPD Committee is determined to improve morale and resident wellness at our institution through our union.
