Hi, my name is Ellie.

I have been given the most amazing opportunity to travel to ESwatini, Africa in summer 2027 with Whickham School.

I am super excited about this trip.

The main focus of the trip is the aid of orphaned children and the local community by painting classrooms, organising activities, preparing vegetable patches for the school, etc.

The cost of the trip is £4000, this covers all of the costs of travel, equipment, flights, etc.

It is my responsibility to earn the money required. I intend to do this in many ways. Setting myself numerous challenges and seeking employment.

My first challenge is to walk the full marathon distance of 26.2 miles.

I will be doing this challenge on Sunday 17 August. I expect this will take me most of the day.

Whilst there I will also get the opportunity to experience the culture and develop my own personal independence.

Any sponsorship would be much appreciated however small to help my dream become a reality.
