My beloved cousin Hugo “Favian” has had a rough time this past year and could use all the love and support he can get. He is just 30 years old, but last year, he was diagnosed with cancer for which he underwent intensive chemotherapy.  As a result of the strong chemotherapy, as well as due to complications from his diabetes, he suffered loss of vision. With the pressure in his eyes so high, he is currently unable to see and is awaiting surgery on his second eye so that he can get on the road to recovery and an improved quality of life. Throughout this time, he has relied on the generosity of those around him to cover the costs of these expensive procedures and treatments, including medications and transportation costs to Tepatitlan where he travels for all appointments. Support of any kind is appreciated, and all funds will be delivered personally by my mother when she visits Favian in Mexico this July.

Mi querido primo Hugo “Favian” ha tenido un ano muy pesado y necesitara todo el amor y apoyo para que pueda recuperarse y regresar a la calidad de vida que tenia. El año pasado, a los 29 años, fue diagnosticado con cáncer y fue tratado con quimioterapia intensiva. A consecuencia de esta quimioterapia junto con complicaciones de su diabetes, Hugo ha perdido su vista. Con la presión en sus ojos tan alta, esta en espera para cirugía en su segundo ojo para poder recuperar su visión. Durante todo esto, ha dependido de donaciones de sus familiares para poder financiar no solo los tratamientos y medicamentos pero también los costos de transportación a Tepatitlán donde viaja para todas sus citas. Apoyo de cualquier tipo es muy agradecido y fondos recaudados serán entregados a Favian por mi mama cuando viaje a Mezcala este julio.
