Hi everyone! Louisa from UAL hockey here. The SU won't pay the coach we found- as despite his extensive coaching experience and the fact he is UAL alumni, he doesn't have the correct qualifications they require.

We all think he's amazing, and can tell a huge difference between the sessions he takes with us versus the ones we have to lead ourselves- whilst we're all here to have fun we also want to be improving our hockey skills! It has been next to impossible finding a coach willing to take us on and we have found a diamond in the ROUGH with Vish.

So we've decided to try and fund training sessions with him ourselves! We ask you to donate what you can. Standard coaching price is £15 an hour so every session will be £30. The aim is to raise enough for 6 sessions (as we are planning on doing some mixed matches next term which we won't need him for) so that's £180! Any money that gets collected that doesn't get used- either because he can't make a session or because we raise over the required amount, will either go towards paying a coach next year or towards the Unisex communal match kit the SU also won't give us a budget for- we can decide this as a team!

Pay what you can, we're hoping for about £5 per person (less than the cost of one pint!) but obviously understand that everyones a student and London's not cheap! Any donations at all will be incredibly helpful :) THANK YOU
