Hi, my friend Duncan was brutally attacked by a man with a machete (nearly severing his let hand) on august 21st working as a security guard at a downtown hotel in Austin. The left artery of the hand had to be cauterized & the ulnar nerve was severed. The ulnar nerve was reattached, but the pinky finger, ring finger & the left side of the palm are numb - time will tell if they heal & he regains feeling. For the foreseeable future he will be unable to work as he rehabs his hand. The long term future of his working capabilities are up in the air. Worker's Comp is barely covering his living expenses. Any help given is much appreciated.
