We are living in difficult times right now - many of us are struggling financially and emotionally.
My long time friend, Michelle is living through an even darker time than many.
In 2015, her 14 year old son, Jacob was diagnosed with Medulloblastoma (brain cancer). After going through gruelling treatments, Jacob was cancer-free for almost 2 years. In April 2018, Jacob’s cancer reoccurred, and he was given a terminal diagnosis. Jacob has been defying the odds but recent scans delivered more bad news.
My friend, Michelle is trying to parent her other children while she gives end of life care to her son Jacob. Because of the pandemic, and the fact that Michelle lost her own Mom in 2019, she doesn’t have a lot of support and is really struggling with the cost of living, medications, long distance trips to doctors appointments. Any small or large donation would be greatly appreciated.
