My Sister's Operation

Hello everyone, my name is Evelyn Cadelina and I am raising a fund for my sister who is currently admitted from the hospital. My sister's name is Maria Corazon Consolacion , she just arrived here in Montreal, Canada last August 8, 2023 with a temporary working visa status, a dream that she worked hard for it. But sometimes life is so unfair, while at work she suddenly felts very week, short of breathing and started a heavy bleeding. So on September 9, 2023 we went to the Clinic for check up but sadly they sent her in the emergency section and diagnosed as very anemic and have a myoma that causes her continuous bleeding. They give her 4 bags of blood transfusion. Later, after so many test they also found out blood clot in her legs and her lungs. To treat the blood clot they brought her to the interventional radiology process and after she was admitted at the ICU for almos 6 hours, a very traumatic night for her and my family. Currently, she is now in her ward waiting for her operation to remove her ovary and uterus.

Our problem and the sad part is my sister's RAMQ will only take effect on November 1, 2023 because of the policy that is when you arrive in Quebec your health care card will only be effective 3 months after your arrival. We asked the Doctors to just wait for November 1 to do the operation but they said my sister's case is a life threatening she needs an urgent operation. They are now preparing her for the operation, doing some test in order to assure her safetiness before the operation and she was scheduled for early next week.

I am asking and seeking for your kind heart and generosity for any amount you can give to my sister to cover her hospital bills, small or big we will appreciate and treasure it from the bottom of our hearts. And may the Almighty God who sees everything up from there returned the favor to you a hundred times.
