Bandit is in pain and needs your help!

Before Bandit was adopted, he spent most of his time in a cage in a backyard and was not leash trained or house trained. I promised to give him the best life I could, and he quickly learned how to walk on a leash and explore!

Now, Bandit can barely walk or move his back legs, and he has trouble standing to go to the bathroom. These problems started when Bandit’s knees became displaced in BOTH his hind legs. He is in constant pain, and he has the human equivalent of a torn ACL (CCL) in his right back leg. His thigh muscles are tightening and weakening due to these issues.

Specialists from the MSPCA-Angell West, an animal rehabilitation center, said Bandit needs weekly physical rehabilitation and pain management. These appointments will help him regain his ability to take short walks and go to the bathroom without struggling. Most importantly, rehab will significantly reduce his pain and improve his quality of life.

Bandit’s rehabilitation was estimated to cost a minimum of $5,000 with the likelihood of $10,000. These estimates don't include the cost of potential knee surgery. All funds raised will go towards Bandit’s physical therapy and rehabilitation, medication, pain management and equipment.
