a time to be born and a time to die,
a time to plant and a time to uproot,
3 a time to kill and a time to heal,
a time to tear down and a time to build,
4 a time to weep and a time to laugh,
a time to mourn and a time to dance,
5 a time to scatter stones and a time to gather them,
a time to embrace and a time to refrain from embracing,
6 a time to search and a time to give up,
a time to keep and a time to throw away,
7 a time to tear and a time to mend,
a time to be silent and a time to speak,
8 a time to love and a time to hate,
a time for war and a time for peace.
On Thursday, September 10th 2020 we lost our Matriarch Judith Penn affectionately known as Judy. While Judy's health has declined over the years nothing can prepare you for sudden and unexpected death of a love one. Judy is survived by her son Sidoles Lubin, her siblings Sandra Fanakos, Wellington Penn, Brenda Benton and Noel Penn and a host of other family members who are grieving the loss of a family pioneer whose mission was to keep family together and preservation and love for our Bahamian culture as the family resettled in America. As we reflect on who she was and what she meant to so many we are also tasked with preparing to lay Judy to rest. The family is accepting monetary donations to assist with the funeral expenses and graciously thanks everyone for their support and prayers during this time of grief. We look forward to celebrating her life and cherishing the many memories we have all made as we move forward with her spirit.
