We recently had to bring our dog Tatum in to be seen as he was having trouble breathing and not eating anything.

When he first started showing symptoms we were told it was allergies and to try giving him medicine for that. After it got worse we had to bring him to urgent care, his symptoms got worse and he started drooling and became lethargic. He had to have blood work, dental exam and xray all while sedated. They treated him for an infection for 2 weeks with antibiotics but his symptoms are coming back. He has a lot swelling in his nose that may be tumors, either benign polyps or cancerous ones. In order to diagnose and treat them we have to get a ct, we were told the consult alone is $400 and the ct after the consult will be anywhere from $1500-$4000, we won’t find out for sure until after the consult. We have already spent everything we have on the testing until this point and aren’t able to schedule the rest right now.

Tatum has been doing okay but you can hear breathing through his nose is uncomfortable for him. Aside from these issues coming up he has been a happy healthy boy and I just want to get him back to that.
