Violet (current Grandmother of the Year) and John Lord have been enormous contributors our community for over 50 years. They support their local school tirelessly and have fostered and raised over 30 children.
John has recently become very ill and will be in hospital for an extended period.
We would like to raise some money for Violet and John to assist with ongoing costs to allow Violet to go to the hospital every day, which is one hour away.
The money will allow petrol and other travelling expenses to be covered.
Also, when John returns home he will require some changes to the home environment to allow him and Violet to be comfortable and manage his needs.
Please consider contributing to this very worthy couple as they go through this very difficult time. They have most certainly given their own time and opened their home unconditionally over many years and most definitely deserve all the support we can provide to them.
