I feel so desperate asking for help, but our baby needs it. At about 11:00 last night Kya started panting really bad, it was escalating rapidly and she fell over stiff, then started gasping for air. She vomited her dinner, then seemed to calm a little. I thought maybe she had an upset belly, but intuitively knew it had to be more than that. We settled back in bed and soon after it started happening again. After the forth time we took her to the emergency vet. She’s basically suffocating due to her soft palette and airways. She’ll need surgery to survive. We paid the bills for her staying over, having to be in an oxygen cube and on meds, but we will have to pay several thousand for the rest of her treatment. Unfortunately I don’t have enough to cover these costs, and I’m begging for help. We adopted Kya in 2019 she’’ll be 4 next month and she is the nicest being. Like really effing nice. Without this surgery she will die. She’s so young and has so much life in her. Please help if you can.
