Hello,

I am Shannon Baker and I am reaching out for dear friends of mine during one of the hardest times of their lives. Recently my friend Tim was diagnosed with Stage 3 rectal cancer in March of 2024. As time went on Tim became unable to work turning their two income household into a one income household. They have struggled immensely with all their bills including mortgage, a car payment, utilities, food and even gas. Tim's wife, Jen, has been forced to work limited hours more and more often so she can care for Tim and make sure he is comfortable during his fight. This has led them to face additional financial issues as they continue through this battle. Tim has surgery planned for January 24th and we are all wishing for a good outcome, but we fear that as time progresses these struggles will continue to do the same. Unfortunately, to add to their stress, their only vehicle was totaled by a young driver pulling out in front of them and hitting two cars on January 8th leaving them with no means of transportation. Despite everything that has been thrown their way they remain optimistic and I am in awe with the way they have stayed strong through it all. I am asking for your support to offer them any bit of relief during this hard time.
