S.W.A.G FAMILY SYDNEY HAS SERVED THOSE WHO LIVE ON THE STREETS OF SYDNEY

HOT AND NOURISHING MEALS, CHEERFUL FOOD HAMPERS, AND MUCH MORE!

Our mission is to provide homeless people with nutritious fresh food, and to help people living in disadvantaged and at-risk communities.

We also help women and children in crisis that are fleeing difficult, often violent, domestic circumstances with temporary accomodation while waiting for a place in a refuge or other permanent accommodation. We've saved so many women and children from having to sleep night after night in their car, but the need is ever growing especially during these trying times.

For over 20 years, we’ve been helping disadvantaged people in our community by providing free food, services and support. Every week we give away hot food, sandwich packs and fresh fruit to families and individuals who need it the most. We also provide clothing and blankets, and assist those who are homeless with finding permanent accommodation. It’s about making life more meaningful and dignified for people who are struggling to make ends meet.

We operate through gifts food and clothing given by people with a heart to care and serve others. Thanks to more than 2000 caring volunteers, we’ve served more than 800,000 meals since April 2012 and have given away tonnes of clothes to disadvantaged people in our community.

SWAG Family is run by Ricky Herrera, a family man and handy man from San Sousci. Together with a team of volunteers, he has given his time selflessly over the years to support Sydney's most vulnerable.
