I have set up this Gofund me page for little Misty.

She was unfortunately hit by a car today and has had injuries to her leg.

I was in the office when I thought it was tyres squealing but it was poor Misty squealing with pain after finding out that car wheels and puppy legs do not mix.

Her owner, Ben, was distraught and we rushed little Misty to the vet. She is a little fighter and has just overcome the effects of the paralysis tick and now this. Ben, her loving owner, is a fruit grower in Cooktown and does not have the money to pay for Misty's vet bill... hence this page.

Little Misty touched so many hearts today as locals and visitors here came to help and requested that I set this page up so they could contribute. What a wonderful community Port Douglas is!
