Rylee was a month shy of her 4th birthday when diagnosed with cancer in particular a Wilms tumour.

Life has changed dramatically for Rylee & no child should have to endure this journey of Cancer.

Tahlia had taken Rylee to a local GP and hospital to be told on both occasions that Rylee was constipated. However Rylee collapsed at home and Tahlia knew there was something wrong with her baby daughter.

She rushed Rylee to QCH where tests were performed and a diagnosis was confirmed. The tumour doubled in size every two weeks and was already consuming her kidney and taking up most of her torso.

Since then Rylee has undergone 6 weeks of weekly chemotherapy sessions, and recently had surgery to remove her kidney and tumour, which resulted in many hospital stays and appointments.

Rylee has a long road ahead and now faces 12 radiation sessions plus four months of weekly chemotherapy sessions.

Tahlia is mum of 5 children and the family live an hour from the hospital so petrol costs together with parking have added up over this time.
