This week we faced one of the hardest decisions of our lives for our sweet boy, Winston. The vet found a mass on his spleen, and our only options were to move forward with surgery or put him down. I couldn’t say goodbye without giving him a fighting chance, so Winston underwent an $8,000 emergency splenectomy. We now are waiting for results, praying it is not cancer.
