Help Josh Put On The Show Of His Dreams

Donation protected

This past year has been a hard hit on musicians and performing artists. We lost the ability to entertain live, and to even play and sing with one another. For my band, Josh & The Wittness, we were only just gaining momentum and getting off the ground. We had some amazing shows planned, and had just recorded our first single! Unfortunately, we had to put all harmony on hold, and quarantine to avoid catching and spreading this virus that has turned the whole world upside down. Those who get to experience the joy that is vocal harmony know that living without it can be just too tough to bear.

In singing the great Marvin Gaye/Tammi Terrell hit, “You’re All I Need To Get By” we are expressing our gratitude and joy in getting to sing with one another again, safely, after many months of being deprived. For singing with one another, truly, is all we need to get by. Music may look different until this pandemic is through (and trust me, masked singing is no walk in the park!) But the music we’re creating right now is to serve as a triumph, and to show just how great it is to be able to sing with each other again!

I will be presenting my Senior Recital in three weeks (Saturday, April 24). It will be Live Streamed, with a link to be posted on Social Media, and nearly no in-person audience. But it will indeed be a live show. With this being my last hurrah at Berklee College of Music, I’ve decided to turn it into the show of my dreams. This will be an hour-long Josh & The Wittness showcase. That’s one whole hour of all the Doo Wop, Vintage Pop, Rock N’ Roll and Rhythm & Blues you could dream! And 100% Acapella.

With this GoFundMe, I am hoping to cover Professional Video and Audio Recording, a Choreographer, possibly even matching suits (a young man sure can dream), and if provided enough, to be able to pay those working with me (mostly fellow students) like the professionals they absolutely are. If I receive more than enough to cover all that, I will be donating the entirety of the remaining money to an organization that’s working within the community of Boston to provide service(s) for those in need or at-risk. At the end of the day, what I want is to see music uplift the community, and what better way to do it than by celebrating music that started with humble beginnings on the street corner?

If you’ll kindly consider donating, or even just sharing this far and wide, it would mean the absolute world to me. I cannot express just how much I appreciate the support of my fans, friends, and family, and I hope you’ll also be tuning in to my Recital on the 24th!!!
