We are hosting a private event on 08-19-2015 for the City of Oxnard Employees including but not limited to Law Enforcement and Fire . It is appropriately called "Bald is Beautiful 2".  Officers, Firefighters and Civilians are challenged to "go bald" on this day. This event started as a payback from me to those who did the same for me while I was going through my own Cancer Treatment. We currently have a dispatcher, Marlana Biesecker who is now in her battle. When I told her what I wanted to do, she graciously asked that all donations go to Natalia Tanguma (Figueroa) and her family.  

Who is Natalia you ask? Natalia is the step daughter of one of our very own Police Officers, Sergio Figueroa. 

In 2010,  Natalia Tanguma (Figueroa) was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia and went through two years of cancer treatment. In 2013, they were told that she was cancer free and returned to school, playing with her friends, and getting back to her normal routine. On January 24, 2014 the Figueroa family was told that Natalia's cancer returned and that for this fight we need to find her a bone marrow transplant donor in order to beat cancer.

We hope to raise money for Natalia's family as she is currently out of state getting her treatment and there is so much cost involved in flying back and forth.
