All of you know Harry and his silly behaviors, and no creature has ever been more food-motivated than him. Sometimes the things we love come back to hurt us. On Saturday, 8/9, Harry tore through a box and a bag looking for food. Unfortunately, the bag was insect killer, which is poisonous to dogs. Harry started having trouble standing on his back legs, tremors, and seizures.

He’s currently in the ICU at the vet, where he’s being closely monitored and cared for. The team is doing everything they can, and Harry is fighting, but the cost of intensive care adds up fast.

Harry’s been between “jobs” lately (unemployed good boy vibes), and things are tight financially. I’m asking for help from anyone who knows and loves Harry, or just knows what it’s like to love a dog like family.

Anything you can give will help him get the care he needs to heal and come home. Thank you so much for your kindness, your support, and for rooting for Harry. He’s got a lot more zoomies left in him.

Update: Harry is fighting really hard to overcome his poisoning. But our fight is far from over. We have been getting glimpses of the Harry we all love and know, but he is facing neurological damage that we are trying to combat. He is currently maxed out on his anti seizure medication, and his muscle relaxer to hopefully allow him to pass his consumption. However, it hasn’t been enough. He is starting Intralipid medication so that the toxin can attach to the medication and he can pass it naturally. His vitals are stable, but his neurological deficits are apparent. He has a lot of fight left in him. But he needs your help. He needs more time in the ER. His team, Dr. Williams, Alexis- his vet tech and Savannah his nurse are fighting for him around the clock. Please help us keep him there.
