Help Mom get back on her feet

As many of you know, our mom had a serious fall last October and broke her left ankle and several other bones in that foot. Since then, she has had four major surgeries and multiple hospital re-admittances. Her surgeons have been working diligently to save her foot from amputation due to complications of diabetes and severe infection. She’s been in constant care at a nursing/rehabilitation facility for the past five months. My parents’ health insurance will cover most of the doctors’ and hospital expenses but the bill for the rehabilitation/nursing home is astronomical and still accruing. She will possibly be there for several more months. This has been a long journey for our parents but our mom’s deepest desire is to one day to be able walk again.
