My name is William Vaden. My wife, Michelle, and I have been married for 3 years. I work at our church, Crosspoint, as a member of the culinary team. My wife is a teacher for children with special needs.
We feel very called as a couple to spread the love of God to every corner of the world. We have an opportunity to accomplish this by traveling with our church to an orphanage in Mozabique Africa this summer. We are raising money so we can go on a 2 week mission trip to work with children at the Caroline Belshe orphanage.
We will be teaching the children there about nutrition while getting to know them and spreading God's love to them.
We need to subit our funds to the church in installments for our plane tickets and lodging. We are doing fundraisers such as sponsering underprivilaged kids with winter hats (every donation provides a teen with a handmade winter hat), car washes, business donations, etc. While those involved in these fundraisers are genrous in thier support, we need additional support if we are to reach our goal. Any amout you are able to donate will be greatly appreciated not only by my wife and I, our mission team, and the orphanage staff, but most of all the children we are going to spend our 2 weeks getting to know, supoprt, and love.
