Jake's Cancer Journey
Donation protected
Hi all - on September 12th my brother in law, Jake, was diagnosed with a rare form of bone cancer called Ewing Sarcoma. Eleven days after his 37th birthday. Not long after and with little preparation started chemo down at U of M October 1st. Jake will be going down for treatment at U of M every two weeks, the first was a 3 day infusion, the next treatment will be 5 days and will rotate the 3 or 5 day infusion for the next nine months.
The great news is that it is “localized”, the cancer has not spread from the one spot in his rib. Although we are all so happy to hear that news…they are going in full force with very aggressive treatment. Jake and my sister Ashlee will be making countless trips, so a lot of traveling and hotel stays along with obviously having to take time off of work.
As many of you know, they have two girls Kenna and Harper who are their entire world - and Jake and Ashlee are theirs. Anyone that knows Jake and that family, LOVES them. They are the literally the best people and deserve only the best of everything. Jake is so strong and will make it thru this with all the love he has behind him and the determination that he has. I am asking for any kind of help/support that anyone can give - funds for hotels, travels, bills…even a prayer, a good thought, a like, a share can really go a long way - and it’s so needed! Any weight that can be lifted off their shoulders is helpful! Thank you for having them in your thoughts and all the love ✨♥️
