Medical Bills for Sandy (my mom)

On October 12, I took my mom to Wentworth Douglass Hospital to find out why she had been having headaches all week long. She had already been out of work for a week and had been having headaches since October 4th. After going to urgent care on October 8th and being told it was the flu, she continued to suffer with the headaches until the 12th when I took her to WWD hospital. Once there, they did a CT scan and found hemorrhaging in the brain. We were then transferred by ambulance to Mass general Hospital, where they did further testing to pinpoint the aneurism...this Tuesday she was admitted for surgery and they placed coils to stop the bleeding in her brain. She will be at Mass General for at least another 2 weeks in ICU and then will have to stay for rehabilitation. Once she is capable of leaving the hospital, she will have to go to a outpatient rehab facility where the funds will be needed to pay for her care. In the meantime, I am raising money for all of her medical expenses, which as of this morning already total $57,000. This money will go directly to my mom  and I will be assisting her in getting everything paid for. We will also be using this money towards expenses as she will be out of work for quite some time. As you all know, my mom is a very private person, however she needs all the support and help and prayers that she can get. It means so much to me that you would take the time to read this and donate as well as keep her in your prayers. I will keep everyone updated as to her progress as much as possible.
