Support My Dad, the Most Caring Man I Know, in His Fight Against Cancer

Thirty-five years ago, Don Day met my mother when I was just 6 months old, and from that moment on, he’s taken care of us both with unwavering love and dedication. Times were tough, but so is my father. He’s incredibly strong, and dedicated, often up at 4:30 a.m., working hard to provide for our family. He has a deep compassion for others and a special love for animals.

Now, my dad is facing cancer. He’s scheduled to start a month of radiation treatments next week, and the hormone treatments have already left him battling night sweats and fatigue. Despite the toll it’s taken on his body, he continues to work when he can. My mom has been working tirelessly to keep our family going.

My parents have never been ones to ask for help—they’ve always made do with what little they had, making sure my needs and the needs of their pets were met first. But now, they need support. Cancer is more expensive than we can manage alone.
