Urn and Support for Arya River
Donation protected
My family, Lynette, 2 kids, and I, moved to Maine in 2011. We are far removed from the rest of our family and relatives. We have made many friends since living here. In 2013 we greatly anticipated the arrival of our daughter, Joslynn Serenity. August of 2013, Lynette went in for her weekly checkup, 1 week before her due date, when they could not hear Joslynn's heartbeat, she was induced and Joslynn was stillborn the next afternoon. We recieved a lot of support from local friends and as much support as possible from our families being so far away.
We have been greatly anticipating the arrival of another daughter, Arya River. Again, Lynette went in for her weekly checkup, about a week before her due date, and there was not a heartbeat. Arya was very active up until this point, even the night before. Lynette was admitted into the hospital where they started the process of inducing labor. Saturday, May 9, 2015 around 8:45am, Arya was stillborn. Joslynn had already been diagnosed with a genetic defect prior to her delivery. Arya however was perfectly healthy all the way through. We honestly do not know what went wrong, only second guesses.
We are asking for the support of family and friends again. Since I am no longer with the company I was with when we received all the support from my co-workers, and am currently contract and unable to take paid bereavement leave. Any support would be appreciated if I were to take unpaid time off. We are also looking for a suitable urn for Arya's ashes to be kept alongside her sister, Joslynn.
