Surgery & Medical Expenses
My husband nearly lost his life to Covid near the end of 2021, and was out of work for almost 3 months.
His airway suffered a lot of damage while he was in ICU for nearly a month, and now we're facing another surgery to fix that damage which will require another ICU stay.
The surgery alone is close to 5,000 (not to mention the ICU bill on top of that), and the time he has to take off work will cost us an entire paycheck of his, as he has no PTO as a contractor with his employer.
I am overwhelmed & consumed with worry about how to get us through. Anything helps.
