Kim's Surgery Fund

Hi, my name is Amanda and I am doing something out of my circles' comfort zone. None of us like to or want to ask for help, especially when it comes to money! Kim is my soul sister and one of the very best people I have ever known! She gives and gives and then keeps giving, so now it is time to give back a little bit!

While getting an MRI for her hip, a technician noticed an abnormality and it was discovered that Kim has Tarlov cysts at the base of her spine. Over time these cysts can create some very serious issues including paralysis. Kim can give you a ton more details, but she needs to have a major surgery to remove the cysts. There are very few surgeons who will do this type of surgery because Tarlov Cyst disease is very rare. You can find more information at www.tarlovcystfoundation.org

The surgery will be performed in Texas so travel expenses will be extensive with having to stay there for a short time for post operative follow up care.

Kim would never ask anyone for anything so I know this is uncomfortable for her, but out of pocket expenses, travel expenses and bills will add up during her down time.
