My grandson Julius is just two years old. He is the sweetest, most gentle little boy you could ever meet—full of love, innocence, and joy.

This past weekend, I had the blessing of spending spring break with Julius and his brother, Marius, at Great Wolf Lodge. We made beautiful memories together—laughing, playing, and just enjoying time as a family.

After I dropped them back home, everything changed.

While Julius was resting on the bottom bunk after a long, fun day, he was suddenly attacked by a pit bull inside the home. His mother fought desperately to get the dog off of him. She tried everything she could and was even bitten herself while trying to protect her son.

Julius is now in the ICU in Fort Worth, fighting for his life.

No child should ever have to endure something like this.

We are praying for a miracle—for healing, for strength, and for Julius to make it through this unimaginable trauma. The road ahead will be long. If he survives, he will face extensive medical care, including multiple surgeries and years of recovery.

We are asking for your prayers first and foremost.
