hi, my name is Laos. i’m 23 years old and i’m a musician/piercer in austin texas. I’ve been out as a binary transgender man for over 8 months now but came out as non-binary in early 2021. however even before that I came out in 2014 as a lesbian (what a pipeline). I always knew I was a man, even if I was 6 and didn’t know the concept of gender I could always just feel it, and when I went through puberty I started experiencing major depression. I’ve always had a small chest, however it’s enough to always be on my mind every single day when I get ready or want to swim because of the unbearable texas heat. this surgery would change my life in so many ways for the better and would help me finally feel comfortable in my own skin. while I do have insurance, the procedure itself is still not cheap and I would need additional funds for the time I’ll have to take off work to recover and for additional appointments I’ll have to attend post-surgery. thank you so much for reading and or helping me transition into my true body. :)
