Jane's on Team Canada U18 world championship team in Germany

Hi, I'm Jane and I am fund raising to help with my expenses like hotel, flight and meals for my trip to the 17th IDBF World Dragon boat championship in Germany. I started my love for dragon boating in Woodstock Ontario and through hardwork and dedication to training I was picked to represent Canada on the U18 team.

It took a lot for me to get here, back in 2022 I had a bad incident that occurred which caused partial amputations on my dominant hand. Through several surgeries and another amputation I was not feeling the best. But with support from my family and others I was able to start living a normal life again. One of the things I loved was and is dragon boating. When I heard about the trials for team Canada selection I wholeheartedly threw myself into getting prepared. I was extremely happy to be selected, and now I am reaching out again for support in helping me alleviate some of the costs my family is incurring. I am saving up money from my part time job, any extra will help. This sport is not funded by any government but by the families. Thanks again for your support.
