A Jump for JOY

In order to continue helping those in need, JOY Soup Kitchen needs to raise $35,000 by year end.  Without this money, the kitchen will be unable to meet its financial obligations. JOY Soup Kitchen's primary focus is to deal with food insecurity among the poor and homeless in the Greenville community.  We are the only place in Greenville that prepares and serves a free, midday meal to address this essential need.  For some people, this is the only meal of the day.  On average, we serve around 25,000 free meals per year.  Each meal costs $2, so a little can go a long way.
