Hey guys, we are reaching out today with a heavy heart and a plea for help for our dear friend, Kristy. She is 38 years old, full time college student and a single mother of two, whose life was turned upside down by a devastating breast cancer diagnosis in September. Her journey since then has been quite the testament to her strength. Unfortunately, the accumulation of medical and basic living costs has created a significant financial strain.

Kristy has begun her fight with courage, undergoing multiple rounds of chemo to give her the best chance at a cancer-free future. She is currently undergoing chemo every 3 weeks. She will be undergoing surgery in February to have a double mastectomy in attempt to be cancer free. She will also find out after her mastectomy if she will need radiation. As we all know, nothing is free and even basic necessities are not cheap.

We are starting this GoFundMe to help Kristy and show our love and support to not only her but her children and family. This will ensure Kristy can focus solely on recovery without the burden of money. Your donation will directly help cover her loss of income: This will include help with daily living expenses, rent, groceries, utilities, gas (to and from) treatments, surgery, etc. As she, her children and family navigate during this difficult time.

Kristy has the biggest heart, has always been one to offer help, a listening ear, etc. Now, it is our turn to rally around her. Any amount you can contribute will alleviate an immense amount of stress and allow her to approach this next battle with a clear mind and a hopeful heart.
