Fellow Ridgemont High School alumnus, dare I say Ridgemontonians.  I contact you at this time to bring to your attention and seek your assistance for one of our own class of ‘86 alumni Neil Yates who is battling non Hodgkinson’s Lymphoma.  Neil is doing well in his treatment a testament to his positive outlook and stoic determination to get well and buy us drinks at the June 2020 reunion being organized by Alta Calcutt and Rob Wilson.  You might remember Neil from the RHS Reach for the top team, as a member of the Monty Python sketches at school variety shows or for providing the M16 replica that Mr Norris threatened his home room class with(see the year book photo). The  all round solid, dependable, witty, charming fellow that Neil may be unfortunately he has the worry of financial matters such as paying his bills and being able to buy food hanging over him whilst being too sick to work, thankfully his $146,000 and counting medical bills are covered by OHIP.  I like Neil and would like to assist him through this difficult period to see him upright and smiling at the reunion.  Rob and I received permission to start this Gofundme campaign to assist him in his recovery without the worry of going hungry.  I lead by example and start this campaign with a donation of $500.  If you are willing and able to assist $5 will buy a sandwich and $50 buys several(being a family forum I had to edit my experiences of what 50 bucks will provide)
