First off... Thank you!
Thank you for being a part of our lives... This was not expected, for my 45 year old brother to have had an open heart surgery on Friday night May 8th 2015. By Gods amazing grace...he is alive!
We are asking if you would consider being a part of helping Brad and his family during this difficult time. Any amount would be a blessing... Seriously. Your friendship and prayers during this time mean so much more... we are trusting God to protect and bless Brad and his family!

Hi faithful friends... Here are some details about my baby brother .... It had been a horrible 10 days for my brother. Brad had the flu for 4 days than one night thinking he was starting to feel better he went for a walk and something in his body jolted. And he had to crawl home! It Took him 2 hours to get home. Early that morning they headed to ER. They took tons of tests but could not find anything, and sent him home with pain killers. – he was in pain for six days – they finally went back to ER Friday May 8th and one of the doctors saw something in his CAT scan that he had already taken and asked for another one. That's when the doctor saw something in his new CAT scan. His aortic was soft and splitting. They said that 90 percent of his aortic artery was splitting ... A critical chance of a aortic rupture! 15 minutes after telling him this, the heart surgeon was in and telling hi that he was going to have open heart surgery...NOW! He was going to have an Ascending aortic dissection!! Shocking for all of us! Lots of tears!!! My mom was already in Maui with brad so I caught the flight during his 5 hour heart surgery. I made it one hour before he was done. after his surgery we went into see him. It was hard to see him like that. Tons of tubes... Within the next hour he was able to respond to the nurses and to us. He had a tube in his mouth but he could answer with his eyebrows :-) it was too precious seeing him answering by lifting his eyebrows. Five hours later they took his tube out and he was talking!
He's talking very slowly and is so thankful for your prayers and your words! I actually can't read some of your comments to him because he begins to cry and gets emotional… he says "love is so painful". :) He is humbled beyond belief by your love and your prayers!
Thank you my friends!! It's going to be a couple of critical weeks that he will be facing... Having to accept the new changes in his heart.
He's in a lot of pain... Brad asked me to ask you to be praying for the next 2 weeks that everything would function such as kidneys, liver and of course for his heart.
I have read your scriptures and prayers over him!! Thank you friends! My whole family can't thank you enough for your words, time and prayers!!
