Ron’s Schwartz Cancer Battle

Mid October i received a call from my mom that would forever change all of our lives . My dad, Ron , was diagnosed with stage IV non-small cell lung cancer . As a family we were prepared for the fight ahead of him , but we never imagined his cancer would matastasized or spread beyond his lungs , into his brain and other parts of his body.

On January 8th my dad was placed on hospice care at home where he could be surrounded by family and pass in the comfort of his home. I quickly flew out to California so that i could be with him and help care for him and help provide emotional support for my Mom and Brother .

With how quickly my Dad’s condition has worsened my mom has had to take a leave of absence where she works , so she could provide him with round the clock care ,since we do not have an in home caregiver yet . With my mom having to provide him with care she is forced to temporarily not bring any income in.

I am creating this Go Fund me account with hopes of providing my mom with some financial support for medical bills and the costs that will follow when he passes away and financial support so she can grieve without having to immediately return to work . I know this is a lot to ask , but anything will help .
