Since his last scans according to the Dr my sons cancer spread & his words were your cancer went from a tree to a forest in your body but im hopeful with this new trial the tumors will shrink so plz keep him in your thoughts & hard for a miraculous healing over my son, my name is Sabrina Ann DelaTorres Martinez, and I’m a proud mother of six amazing adult children and a grandmother to many beautiful grandbabies. Today, I’m reaching out with a mother’s heart full of pain and hope — praying that someone reading this will help us save my son’s life.

On November 2023, my son got married and started a family. He stepped up and became a father to his wife’s daughter, raising her as his own since she was a baby. She’s now almost 4 years old and just started Head Start. To her, he’s the only daddy she’s ever known.

Then, in February 2025, a beautiful blessing arrived — his first biological child, a baby girl. But just as he was stepping into this new chapter of fatherhood, he began experiencing severe stomach pain. Six weeks later, after a trip to the ER and a CT scan, our lives were changed forever!

Doctors found a fist-sized mass in his abdominal cavity, and he was immediately transferred to a cancer center over an hour and a half away. After a week of tests, we were devastated to hear the diagnosis:
Stage 4 stomach cancer.
They gave him a prognosis of 6 to 18 months to live.

My heart shattered.

He started chemotherapy right away — treatment every two weeks — and tried to stay strong for his family. Then, we received another blow: he tested positive for the CDH1 gene mutation, which means it’s hereditary. Myself and my children all got tested — all but one of us tested positive. We’re still waiting on one more result.

As if that wasn’t enough, my son recently started experiencing intense back and rib pain. We rushed to the ER again, and imaging showed that the cancer has now spread to his spine — lesions, a tumor, and a fractured T4 vertebra. The pain is unimaginable.

Since his diagnosis, everything has changed. He’s been unable to work. The chemo has drained him physically. The stress of not being able to provide for his wife and children has broken him mentally and emotionally. Depression and anxiety have taken hold. They’ve fallen behind on rent, utilities, phone bills, auto insurance, and they struggle just to get by with food, baby supplies, household essentials, vitamins, supplements, and gas. His only means of transportation — the car he uses to get to his treatments 3 hours round trip a few times a month and take his daughters to their appointments — is now in need of repairs.

As a mother, I will do anything to keep my son alive. I’ve been researching top cancer centers, clinical trials, immunotherapy, and any chance at hope. If we have to relocate from Colorado to another state for better treatment, we will — but we can’t do it alone we will also need help with travel costs & lodging.

My son is the kind of person who would give you the shirt off his back. He’s a gifted artist, a tattooist, a musician, a writer, a mechanic — always creating, always helping others, always working hard. But now cancer has taken away his mobility, his energy, and his ability to live the life he loves. With God's will we found out God has gifted him with a Blessing a new baby girl due on his 31st Birthday on May 30th❤

We are asking from the deepest parts of our hearts:
Please help us.

Any donation — big or small — will make a difference. Your generosity will help cover medical expenses, basic living needs, baby supplies, travel and lodging for out-of-state treatments, and so much more.

If you’re unable to donate, please share this campaign and his CashApp ($GeminiBag95) keep my son in your prayers. We believe in miracles, and we’re holding on with everything we’ve got.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart for your love, support, and compassion.

With love,
Sabrina Ann DelaTorres Martinez
