Oyebola Babatunde

Donation protected
Oyebola Babatunde is a teacher in Ogun State, Nigeria - he's currently out of work, without pay, because of the global pandemic.
Babatunde was hit by the crime wave that accompanied the start of the pandemic - his apartment was broken into and his valuables stolen, including his laptop.

We're not begging, and the campaign goal here is just an arbitrary number (GoFundMe insists on a number) - this GoFundMe campaign was requested by commentors on the linked YouTube video and is being curated by Atomic Shrimp.  100% of donations will go to Babatunde, to help him keep a roof over his family's head, and meals on the plates.

Update 8th July 2020 - Massive thanks to everyone who donated - your generosity was overwhelming and as we come to close this campaign now, you have raised over twice the original target value (which number itself was honestly something we thought would not be reached).

You have enabled Babatunde to replace his stolen laptop, provide for his family and also to assist some other people in dire need in his community.  Thanks for making this a huge success!

Update 3rd August 2020 - a few people asked me to reopen the donations, so I have done that (for a limited period) and I will make sure Babatunde gets the subsequent payouts in full

Update 7th October 2021 - this fundraiser is now closed.  Please support Babatunde via his YouTube channel: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCla1QqkSKcWXjfig0xe7iTw
