I had the pleasure of meeting The Zarate Family after learning their daughter Monique 14 ,was recently diagnosed with Cardiomyopathy. Very shocking as she was very active
in Softball and lived a normal life thus far. With this diagnosis comes a life long medical journey that Monique and her family are now on. They are currently staying in the hospital in UCLA awaiting her upcoming surgery next week of a Septal Myectomy and an ICD placement. Mom and dad have been switching staying with her .As a mother of a child who also has been through similar ,I know the strain that this puts on a family finically with gas,parking,food,missing work and needing a hotel for next weeks surgery due to only one parent being able to stay in the ICU .So I ask for you to show your support for this family for this new journey that they are on❤️
