Lay my brother to rest!

Hi, my name is Valerie Slater, and I am fundraising for my little brother, Samuel (Sam) Slater.

Sammy was my little brother, my friend, and an amazing friend, uncle, and son.

On Sunday May 15th, at 7:48pm, Sammy lost his life unexpectedly at the age of 33. I am reaching out for assistance with all the expenses that come with end-of-life. Sam left behind his parents Charles and Margarita Slater, sisters, brothers and several nieces and nephews along with many close friends. The family can use the support to help them get through this immensely difficult time.

Sam is known for his incredible sense of humor, his unwavering loyalty to everyone he loved! He is a passionate brother, son, friend and uncle. He was a talent artist and avid reader. Sam touched the hearts and minds of everyone that he encountered. His passing is an incredible loss, to everyone that has known him and loved him. Words cannot describe the hole he has left in everyone’s heart.

We are asking for your support in the form of a donation to help pay for the abundance of transportation, cremation, visitation, burial, and the celebration of his life. Any additional funds raised will be donated to a charity in his name.
