Dear Friends, Family and any others who may read this,
We have joyous news! Our daughter and son-in-law, Sonia and Dustin Graves, after much thought and prayer, have decided that the time is right to expand their family through adoption. Dustin and Sonia have been married for 7 years and have two little girls; Leah (5) and Reese (2). Because of their compassionate hearts, they are now early in the process of adopting a sweet 17 month old little boy with special needs from Korea . He was born with two heart conditions and they are anxious to bring him home as soon as possible in order to get him top rate medical care at Seattle Children's Hospital. We regret that privacy laws do not allow us to share pictures of the adorable little guy at this time but as soon as it is allowed we will be sure to update this page and share him with you.
As you might already know international adoption costs a great deal of money. Sonia and Dustin will need to come up with $30,000 within the next couple of months in order to keep the process moving with more fees coming up at various times over the next year. Medical costs for his heart condition will also be a factor. We are humbly asking, that anyone who might be inclined to give, would reach out on this go fund me page. Anything donated will go directly to the interest of this little boy and his adoption. If you are willing, please share this with your friends and family. I know that Sonia and Dustin would be forever grateful and humbled with any help they receive in this adoption process.
As you can imagine, we are excited to become grandparents again. We are so very proud of the compassionate hearts these two have in wanting to make this world a better place by taking on the responsibility of and sharing their home, family and love with this child. We would also like to ask for your prayers for this whole process to go quickly and smoothly. Also, for a smooth transition for their family, and especially for this little boy, that the Lord would keep him until he gets into the arms of his forever family and gets the love and medical attention that he deserves.
