Help the Smiths with medical bills

This GoFundMe is meant solely to assist Maria and Ben Smith offset their medical costs from Ben’s recent accident that will require a potentially lengthy hospital stay and one or more surgeries. 

For anyone who isn't aware, Ben has long served in the legal community, working through Nashville's Child Protective Services to ensure endangered children are given the care and protection from often dangerous situations. Over the last few years, he has also worked tirelessly teaching the next generations of lawyers, grooming and nurturing the future legal minds, giving his heart and soul to ensure they are prepared and ready to stand up for the clients, regardless of the field.

On Saturday, March 5, he was seriously injured, receiving burns over a third of his body, requiring immediate evacuation to a local burn unit. While he is steadfast and will undoubtedly recover, the journey will be a long and painful one, and we are uniting to help his and Maria's family weather the financial storm however possible.
