They say asking for help is the hardest part. They are right. My journey the last couple of years has been a lot of ups and downs with my health. Last year I almost lost my life due to blood clots that traveled from my leg (DVT) to my lungs, internal organs and brain. I was able to over come and heal. I was off work for 8 months. I have a condition that makes my blood clot more than normal. Medication helps keep that under control. Compromised immune system, allergies and a list of medical conditions as long as my arm are now what my life is. Always in pain, always sick, depression and and overwhelming need to let go. Let go of the anxiety and frustration. But I won't let go, I'll push through and get well again. I've been off work this time since March. My body cannot recuperate as quickly as it needs to before another thing attacks it. Right now that is my gallbladder. Because of my compromised immune system and complication rates this normally routine surgery is going to take quite a bit more effort on the parts of my doctors, surgeon and myself to survive and recover properly. I'm scared witless, but that's not unusual. LOL. I'm asking for help to cover my portion of the co-pay which could be upwards of $5000, plus all my actual living expenses and medical bills are piling up. I realize of course that many of you have your own problems and your own bills. But as I have found when I have donated to these GoFundMe's or others in need it gives me a little bit of joy to help someone else, even if it's just a few bucks. My insurance does cover 80% after my deductible, but it's still extremely expensive for someone that isn't working and has no income other than a very small amount from the state. I can't do anything to change my situation other than get through it as best I can, and get back to work. Financial help from my friends and loved ones is and will be greatly appreciated. Even if you cannot donate please say a prayer, send happy thoughts and messages and positive energy in my direction. Thank you so much, Shelly
