The London Marathon
Hii I’m Ellie , im 19 and I’ll be running the London marathon in April ! I’ll be running for My Dad (Cyril) through a charity close to home - Hillingdon Brain Tumour and Injury Group. In 2008 my dad was diagnosed with a meningioma, he was told it was inoperable and terminal. However before this he was misdiagnosed multiple times which led him to not being able to go to work due to seizure's and nerve pain almost 24/7. In 2009 my amazing mum decided to create Hillingdon Brain Tumour and Injury Group , to help others so no one else would experience an awful , back and fourth battle like my dads. My dad was a warrior but sadly lost his battle in 2016 after deciding he could no longer take the pain and the phycosis , he took himself to Heaven. My Dads journey has postively impacted and created wrap around indivual care and early diagnosis, changing the lives of over 100 people living with a brain tumour / Brain injury. Unfortunately the minimum to raise for the marathon is £2000 so any donation would be amazing. Whether is £1 or even more I’d be extremely grateful !Thank you in advance for your contribution it means so much to me.
